Christopher Bwanika
MILDMAY UGANDA Regional Supervisor- VMMC HIV PREVENTION
Christopher Bwanika has over 12 years of project management experience in Uganda's HIV/AIDS and public health sectors. He has a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health, a BSc. Hons. in Health and Social Systems Management from the University of Manchester, and is working on an MSc. in Health Economics and Policy Management at the London School of Economics.
He is deeply committed to global health, health equity, and effective health financing in low- and middle-income countries. He currently works as a Regional Supervisor-VMMC at Mildmay Uganda, as a contributing researcher with the Mildmay Uganda Research Committee and the American Society of Health Economists, and as a health and finance consultant with the UNAIDS Technical Support Mechanism via Genesis.
He is a registered and licensed practitioner and a member of the Uganda Ministry of Health Allied Professionals Council. He is a registered and active member of the African Health Economics and Policy Association, the International Health Economics Association, and the American Society of Health Economics.
